What the work involves
We install underground tanks for storing drinking water, retention basins for stormwater or leachate, and oil/water separators. These are projects required for nearly any new investment involving large concrete surfaces: parking lots, logistics hubs, gas stations, and warehouses.
A retention basin captures the peak flow from the design rainfall and releases it in a controlled manner into the sewer system, so that the public sewer system is not overwhelmed. A hydrocarbon separator captures oils and fuels that have leaked onto the platform before the water reaches the outfall—without it, a water management permit cannot be obtained.
We perform the excavation, concrete foundation and base, installation and anchoring of the tank to prevent flotation, the inlet and outlet connections, the sampling chamber, and the compacted backfill. For drinking water reservoirs, we perform flushing, disinfection, and leak testing before commissioning.
