What the work involves
Brașov County has areas where a network cannot be built according to the manual: steep slopes, bedrock at shallow depths, narrow roads that a standard excavator cannot access, and yards built right up to the property line. Here, the project’s solution must be adapted to the terrain; otherwise, the work comes to a standstill.
We have installed networks in rugged terrain, in areas where the route must be anchored to prevent slippage, and at sites with restricted access, where excavation is done with a mini-excavator or by hand and the soil is removed in stages. On rock, we use a jackhammer, and where open-cut excavation isn’t possible, we use underpasses.
This type of project can only be accurately estimated after a site visit. We come out, assess the access, the nature of the terrain, and the existing utility lines, and only then do we prepare the estimate—a quote issued from the office for a site like this is never accurate.
