What the work involves
We install compact pumping stations for domestic wastewater and stormwater in situations where the terrain does not allow for gravity flow to the sewer main—such as homes below street level, basements, underground platforms and parking garages, and facilities located at the end of the network.
We also build pressure-boosting stations with on-site cast reinforced concrete sumps for systems where the pressure from the public network does not reach the upper floors or meet the flow rate required by the fire protection system. The project includes the chamber, the pump unit, the automation system, the expansion tank, and the electrical connection.
Sizing is based on the actual flow rate and pumping head, not on catalog specifications: an oversized pump starts and stops too often and wears out, while an undersized one cannot support the system. We select the equipment based on the hydraulic calculations for the facility and hand over the station after conducting a functional test.
