What the work involves
We construct pedestrian sidewalks and decorative paving using andesite cobblestones, concrete pavers, or natural stone for public spaces, residential complexes, and industrial sites.
In the Brașov area, andesite cobblestones are frequently requested in historic centers and protected areas, where urban planning regulations require their use. It is a slow-paced, labor-intensive process: grouting, alignment, and slope grading are all done by hand, and the results become apparent in the first few years, with the first freeze-thaw cycle.
The project includes excavation and foundation work, the paving bed, curbs, the actual installation, jointing, and compaction, plus connection to existing gutters and drains. We also install the ramps and tactile paving required for accessibility.
